It all started when…
Sindisa Sanctuary was founded in 2016 on 125 acres in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California. We welcomed our first rescue resident in 2017, a retired racehorse from Golden Gate Fields and have proudly grown and continued our mission as a 501c3 non-profit corporation to provide a forever home for over 54 rescued farm animals including wild horses, domestic horses, mules, pigs, alpacas and cows.
Set in the serene wilderness of Northern California Wine Country, our Healdsburg location, with a picturesque backdrop, has since become home for animals and people alike. We’ve introduced the best outdoor glamping safari, with grounds featuring luxury tents, lush bedding, farm-to-table dining, dipping pool, and access to our animal rescues.
Re-wild your soul with a visit to Sindisa.
If you choose to give through donations, your generosity will go directly towards improving the living conditions of our rescue residents as well as bringing in new animals to the sanctuary. We'll keep you posted on the progress you enable!
