It all started when…

Sindisa Sanctuary was founded in 2016 on 125 acres in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California. We welcomed our first rescue resident in 2017, a retired racehorse from Golden Gate Fields and have continued to grow from there. Today we continue our mission as a 501c3 non-profit corporation to provide a forever home for over 54 rescued farm animals including wild horses, domestic horses, mules, pigs, alpacas and cows.

We have proudly grown into a sanctuary for dozens of animals where visitors are welcome to come glamping in our onsite safari tents and get back in touch with nature.

Re-wild your soul with a visit to Sindisa.

Sindisa Sanctuary is so amazing! Literally the first camp site I have ever been to with running water, pool, wine glasses and an outdoor shower. I could have stayed for a month. Sarah made everything so easy and special for us. We will 100% be back we LOVED it! There are horses, alpacas and we brought my dog too and he had a blast. I would highly recommend this place! Happy Trails.
